We are currently living in the smartphone era and not being able to enjoy its mobile applications in everyday life is becoming a handicap. A touch function that no longer responds, a completely black screen, a broken or cracked screen, these are the problems most often encountered with the iPhone.
A touch problem or not
As you use the iPhone 8 Plus, it is possible that the screen may be cracked, only partially display, no longer display anything, or the touch function may not respond. In the latter case, before rushing to change the screen, you should try resetting the phone in question, as this may be a software issue and not a hardware problem. If this is the case, simultaneously hold down the power button and the volume down button for a few seconds and wait for the device to restart. If the problem persists, you can then take into account the fact that the source of the problem is hardware, and start replacing the screen.
How to change the screen of an iPhone 8 Plus
Before taking any action on the equipment, the unit must be switched off first. Never open any electronic or electrical equipment while it is still live. Only then can you begin to detach the display of an iPhone 8 Plus from its shell by unscrewing the two screws at the charger connector. Then to detach the screen from the device, slide the screen down slightly, then open to the right like a notebook and pay attention to the tablecloths that connect the screen to the motherboard. Unscrew the plates hiding the tablecloth connectors so that they can be disconnected (camera tablecloth and speaker). Once the screen is disconnected, you can replace it with a new one.
Some tips
The screen may be difficult to detach because of the joints between the screen and the frame, so the joint can be heated with a hair dryer to make it more flexible and easier to detach. You can also change the screen of an iPhone 8 Plus with that of an iPhone 7, as they are strictly identical. However, the manipulations to be carried out require a certain precision, know-how, delicacy and a few tools. It is therefore better to go through a professional if you don't have the necessary, so as not to cause more damage.
